SAF-T Course Description: This technique produces a calming effect, can safely be used with adults or children and does not involve medications. Revolutionary method to help people relax their bodies.
Objective: Alleviate negative sensations associated with anxiety, trauma, physical discomfort such as reducing pain and headaches. Works to assist someone in regulating emotions, de-escalating after a conflict or experiencing or witnessing a traumatic or disturbing event.
Format: Didactic Lecture, Case videos, Supervised Practicum and training manual.
